For Sale - 1986 Honda Rebel 450 632088 Selling a 1986 Honda Rebel 450 Motorcycle in excellent running condition. The bike's mileage is 7,183. I had bought this bike in 2001 for my girlfriend; however, she never rode it. After 7 years, I gave her a last chance. I sent the bike to a local Honda Dealer to have it gone over. This bike has a new seat (I have the receipt) and new paint. The Honda Dealer also rebuilt the carbs, replaced the spark plugs, changed the oil and filter, speedometer cable and front brake and checked all of the cables, wiring and tires (I have the receipt from the Honda Dealer). She still wouldn't ride it. This bike needs nothing but a rider. I will also throw in a Clymer Honda 400-450cc Twins 1978-1987 Service, Repair and Maintenance Manual (M334), 426 pages. For Sale - 1971,Honda, CL450 Scrambler 632059 1971 Honda CL 450 Scrambler $1,400 OBO Clear WI Title. Nice running bike with over $400 worth of work just completed. Frame sandblasted and repainted, original motor replaced with another 450CC. Replacement motor was torn down and rebuilt with new rings/gaskets. New clutch, Carbs rebuilt and synched. Fresh tune. Petcock rebuilt. New battery, New front and rear tires, New clutch and throttle cables, New chain, New fork seals and fluid replaced, All lights work, Exhaust in nice shape without leaks. Cosmetically the tank, side covers and fork ears could use a repaint as they are original, Seat cover has 1.5 inch tears along the side vertical seam where the seam stiching has opened just in front of the strap (this is common but hardly noticeable on a user bike). Chrome is in very nice shape for a user. Aluminum cases, hubs, forks have all been polished. Cylinder head was repainted with original silver. The front fender has a 1.5 inch “ding” in the very top between the forks. This is a very presentable bike and has a ridiculous amount of power and does not smoke whatsoever. It starts instantly with the electric start or with one kick. The only item needed is a replacement kill switch. Delivery available...let's talk. Runs PERFECT starts easy, no problems whatsover. Only HP4M w/moly was used in the engine, and Golden Spectro in the transmission. All bearings were packed with the finest Sikolene synthetic grease and cables were lubed using a dry graphite lube. Everything is torqued to spec and professionally assembled. The motor has never been opened up as the internals are 100% stock. This bike was always in a climate controlled garage. Adult owned and NEVER raced, this bike was only built for show.It can however be raced as there are tons of upgrades which include: Frame/Swingarm: *The frame and singarm is professionally powdercoated matte black by Spectrum Powder works (not 1 scratch ANYWHERE) *The subframe is polished to a mirror finish. If you think of it as a “project bike” you will not be disappointed. I rode the bike briefly when I bought it, but since then it will not restart due to valve train problems. However, I have since picked up a second engine for it, so between the two, it should not be too hard to get back on the road. A ton of extra parts are included, such as: Instrument cluster Front fender Brake calipers Side covers (650 Turbo... $$) Front bikini fairing (OEM) Rear tail (OEM) Side footpeg assy 650C engine (about 20k miles) For the full price I will include the factory manual set for the 650e complete with the Honda setup manual, all of it imported from the UK. Its all in a hard binder. And yes, bike has a title, from Canada (legally imported btw), but I have not had to transfer to my name yet. I will do that before selling. I really took care of the bike never been down or in an accident and is meticulously maintained. It has a great v-tech engine, which saves you a lot in gas and has the power of a regular sports bike when you need it. Below 7000 rpm it only works with 2 valves per cylinder over 7000 rpm it kicks like a turbo. If you want a smooth ride that will not requires a lot of gas keep it under 7,000 rpm and you should get about 50 mpg but you have the option to kick it to 10,000 rpm and get nothing but power. When not ridden, the bike has always been stored in a garage.
